It shows the ability we have to put more tourist destinations and more visits to friends and family within reach,” he adds. Jetstar first began flights to Queenstown in mid-2009 and carried 238,000 passengers to and from the alpine resort in the 2011 financial year – up more than 20% on the previous year.
