Pounamu Apartments is seeking a confident and motivated Marketing "Super Star" to join our small team. We pride ourselves in offering focussed Service Excellence for a mix of our Nightly Guests and Long Term Tenants in New Zealand's leading tourist Destination, Queenstown.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in leading the marketing strategy for Pounamu Apartments. Accountable for all areas of Marketing, you have the responsibility of creating the all-important first impression to our Guests.
As a critical member of the team, your passion, drive, leadership, commitment and ability to multitask, will be a great fit to Pounamu's busy environment.
Key areas of Focus & Responsibilities
Expanding and gaining more market share and increasing occupancy.
· Planning, development and implementation of the business marketing strategies, communications, building strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
· Evaluate local and international market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan modifications as required for current and future opportunities.
· Support Guest Services and provide on-site management relief if required.
Skills and Experience
You are savvy, with great commercial nous and experienced in the world of Accommodation marketing.
ü You thrive on meeting and exceeding expectations and delivering the WOW factor. You are an absolute whiz when it comes to marketing strategies, particularly digital and social media.
ü Understanding and experience of SEO's, analytics, measuring ROI and CMS essential.
ü A team player with a positive "can do" attitude and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
ü Strong attention to detail and highly developed computer literacy and administration / organisational skills.
ü Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
ü Flexibility to work rostered hours between Monday to Sunday, 7.30am – 8.30pm
ü Salary will be based on level of experience starting from 45K+
